Your question interested me specifically, because I recently discovered a miscreant who has scammed me out of some $50,000. (& many others to the tune of I don't know what). There are some differences in the people you mention. Some are downright mean spirited & really "enjoy" messing people up; some do things out of revenge for something they THINK you did to them. But the most incomprehensible are SOCIOPATHS. They are toally self oriented, & without conscience. Some people think their "chickens will come home to roost," but I don't. Actually, they can be very "successful" their entire lives. Sounds like you've had a personal experience--it would be nice to be able to "trust" but not very realistic!

Forget about God for a second. Why on Earth would you delete your Youtube videos if they meant that much to you? I was thinking that you were going to say that your ex-girlfriend somehow hacked your account and deleted your videos, or attached some kind of virus that would hurt them. Even if she posted vulgar messages or included porn videos or something, that is absolutely no reason to have done such a thing. But it's too late to worry about that now. Of course you should feel bad about it. Take this lesson as a way to not let people, no matter who they are, get to you. I don't know what else to say except that if you're ex still messes with you, tell her straight up that you will absolutely not take her BS anymore, and the next time she does, you'll threaten her with police.

Dear, you can't find an exact answer to that question. This world we live in is so complex and God knows we can't understand it.
The answer to your question highly depends. There is no exact answer because there is no exact situation. There are various situations, various cases, so your answer will most likely differ from case to case. It depends on the person, it depends on the circumstances, it depends on the cause of the situation etc. Until you know all these elements, you can't give an exact answer.
However it seems like you already have your answers. You asked why anyone would want to destroy lives. And you replied this yourself: because people are liars, cheaters, hypocrites, mean etc. The list can go on. You are actually asking why people are cheaters, liars and hypocrites. That's like asking why is the sky blue?
Sure there is a cause for this, but it highly depends on the case like I stated before. Not all people are doing it out of jealousy or pure evilness.
All the reasons that the other answerers have stated are correct, but they don't apply to all situations. They are individual cases.

Destroying peoples lives is seldom the objective of these people. They do it for their main objective which would be: Fame, Money, Love, Friends, Fun etc...
For many it's a learning process. For others they just can't think of better ways. Many times it may just be experimenting and discovering.
Those who really intentionally destroy other peoples lives are those who have been hurt, or just the ones I explained about above, who are looking for some kind of other value.

People for the most part are selfish beings, we tend to think of only ourselves. The number one reason I feel someone would destroy another person's entire life, willingly is because that person doesn't care. It is very easy to crush a bug if you have no feelings for a bug. It is easy to destroy someones life if you can do it and sleep well at night.

they have always wanted to be seen as the winners and have basic issues that are used by big brother when they train these people-they are just a little better than they were supposed to be in school, they had advantages that gave insights that they are using like a drug to give them selves what they what in spite of the conceitedness of its theme-sociopaths hate criticism and they are a mess that is the humanity that is left every time the good men are sent off to war these are the ones that the country doesn't use to fight wars with they are the insults to injury to most of the people who are also left behind the disabled and the handicapped have to listen to the raze of them too

I think ppl stoop to low levels because they feel small about themselves...these sort usually cling and feel always on the edge of rejection. In otherwards I think it is a small person from inside, trying to be big on the outside...destroying lives ..give them a sense of power and control. Search for positive like-minded ppl and it usually works out for the best....minimizing the chances of having these sorts focus on you.

People are just selfish. I think it starts with no belief in life. If they believe there's no purpose to life, they're just going to do whatever they can to satisfy themselves rather than help others. And they get pleasure out of terrorizing other people.
