I'm looking to join a fitness club/gym in chicago. I don't need something too fancy, but i would love it if there's an indoor pool. Any suggestion would be great. I live around the loop so be great if it's in the area. thanks!

If you live in the Loop. There are three places. First, this is a private club with a fitness center. It is the Union League Club of Chicago.

YMCA on Irving Park. It;s about 1-2 blocks of the Irving Blue Line 'L' stop and they definitely have an indoor pool. I think there's also a Bally's in the loop not sure if they have a pool though. There are a lot of smaller gyms in the loop as well. There's one at the RR Donnelly building at 77 West Wacker (clark and Wacker). They have an indoor pool. It's just across the street from the Cclark and Lake station so you can take blue, brown, red, orange or purple lines there. I don't recall the name of he gym though. sorry.

there is a ballys by cumberland and foster it is close to a l station and they have an indoor pool, but it is close to ohare.
