I think that Cliff had a chance. Why did the producers allow them to act the way they did on t.v.? It wasn't live. They chose to show the tape. Whose Fault???

I think Cliff was really going anyway, so they let it
all unfold that way. They wouldn't have kicked one
of the other ones off for the same offense.

Good question.
They provided the beer. The supervised the contestants. they knew they were toasted at least enough to shave their own head. They should have called someone to talk to them. Instead they let Cliff jump on Marcel and try and take him to the bathroom. Nothing happened. Marcel was not hit. He was not shaved. To me it is no harm no foul. And if it was a foul then all four of them were guilty of that foul. It seems they got their rules all screwed up. As is Cliff's food stunk so he was going home anyway. Such is life.

Cliff would have gone home anyways because his food sucked in the last challenge....Plus his arrogance was off the charts! And Marcel could have said something even though we don;t know for sure if he did say something. You will be surprised what producers will do for the extra ratings....

It is good for ratings and bad for humanity. They have turned top chef into some sort of frat house. Perhaps they should do a background check next time. Cliff said he has done things like this before if you watch on http://www.bravotv.com

My absolute fav show, Cliff really didn't have a chance, his food on last episode wasn't as good and he was so arrogant that they had to do something. I really could'nt believe they booted him off for that tho. Marcel wasn't hurt, but I sure wish they would or could have shaved that head!!!

I was sorry to see Cliff go cuz i really liked him but he was going anyway cuz they said his food was not that good on the last challenge.
I think the whole prank thing was just to fill in air time and put a twist on the whole thing-ratings.
I hope Sam or Elan wins. Marcel needs to go- I can't stand him!
i call him wolfman cuz he reminds me of Wolverine with that hairdo.

You have to admit, he was an idiot. I mean, why would he hold Marcel down while the camera was rolling. He deserved to go home though i do agree with you that he did have a good chance of winning
