that sounds distressing and embarrassing. no-one wants doctors pocking around and then on top of that it does not help. you may find that it is a type of eczema. can itch like a *****. sometimes there are bumps and sometimes just patches. doctors don't think of this because usually eczema is on other more visible parts of the body. a cortisone cream / oily one. helps like a dream but don't stop too soon. also bathing in clean water with sea salt added helps too. i do hope that helps. it is really distracting when something so private is not right. best of luck.

It sounds like herpes. The symptoms are similar. Did they check for that? If not, ask them to. Though it seems unusual that the sores from an outbreak would last this long. According to the source below, the first outbreak could last up to a few weeks, but it does not mention them potentially lasting longer.

I doubt it. If your gynos don't know what it is...
It could be a pimple - type thing. I have had them but they usually go away within a week or so.
It doesn't sound like any typical disease tho. It has been there 6 months? You need to see still another doctor who will do something instead of scratch their head.

Watch out! The red spots will multiply exponentially in due time. That is how herpes behave.
