1. Bad luck - any team can lose on any given night. 2. Ego - Lakers have underestimated bad teams and lost 3. Injuries - LA is not as deep as other teams 4. Defense - LA does not have the best defense in the league 5. Loss of team focus - Kobe can sometimes lose team focus and attempt to win by himself 6. Poor shot selection 7. Good matchups for underdog - Some teams match up well against the Lakers. 8. 15 other teams - LA is good but there is a large field out there who want to win just as much.

well youre going to lose your thousand. Lakers cant beat the spurs, suns, or mavs in a best of 7 series. the lakers can beat them on any given night but not when they have to face these teams 7 times.

I'm a Kobe fan too, but besides Kobe and Odom them young supporting guys bound to have mental lapses.
Probably next year, them bench needed some playoff experience first.

**** yeah Lakers are going to win if Phoenix and Dallas play each other theyre goes one major team and we can beat the spurs anytime theyre getting old. so if we face the suns we can beat them i think the Lakers had enough experience last year to give up another 3-1 lead.
