They aren't 'all' incompatible, probably the majority might be. It depends on a whole lot of factors, but right up front, they are both pretty intense signs. Aries is a jump right in & go fire sign, and Scorpio is a react now, who gives a crap about the consequences-water sign. Scorpio's need to feel that they 'own' their men. An aries man is last usually to want anyone to interfere with or undermine his freedom.

May be incompatible with the zodiac...but maybe not in reality. My fiance and I....he's an Aries and i'm a Scorpio. We are very compatible. He's quiet and i like to talk. I like him to listen and he does. So this is actuallly balanced. He's calm and i may at times be the total opposite. He remembers details which is great. He points out things i woudn't think he'd remember and i love that.
As a scorpio i say...he is not rowdy and he won't go along with me when i'm angry. He actually settles me down in a very nice sweet way. He has a way of asking for things and making me feel better. Maybe it's his manners. Also he doesn't like drama. Some scorpios may like drama, but when you don't find opposition or someone to argue with you, you just find a neutral space.
I am very happy with my Aries man.

Can we say “power trip?” Putting these two strong signs together is anything but boring! You may find an Aries/Scorpio couple arguing over who is right and who is going to get their way. An arguing Aries tends to fly off the handle, while a simmering Scorpio analyzes the situation before speaking out. If these two can learn to take turns at being the boss, this relationship has electric potential!

It will be a tough relationship like the others said. I won the Aries over that I dated with conversation, wit, and charm. You have to be able to keep up with them verbally an mentally. Arguments and debates will be fierce and have a tendency to go south really quick if you can not communicate well. Scorpios have a natural tendency to want to push a relationship into the direction they see fit. Don't do this, esp with an Aries. Let it unfold naturally.

It's the classic love-hate relationship. They both have a very strong force but diffrent ways of exerting it.
Also Aries can be so outspoken that they can step on peoples feelings to wich Scorpio can react very hatefully.

Both can be very selfish. The Aries might also make the Scorpio very jealous at times. Some relationships do work even though astrology claims that they don't.

Aries is too vain to pick up on the fact that Scorpio lives for attention, but is too proud to say it. Aries men are too free, while Scorp girls like to be possesive. Oh, but the sex! It is fantastic.
