Just found out I have a cyst. I have been waking up at night due to pain caused by the cyst. I've found that using a hot water bottle actually releives the pain after some time... any other suggestions?
Experinces?

in case your physician is holding it gained't harm till it truly is grapefruit length, they are incorrect! it is your body and also you need to be insistent with the physician that it does harm. Ask the dr for discomfort drugs. in case your dr nonetheless gained't do some thing get a 2d opinion! in the meanwhile, attempt laying down with a heating pad and word if that permits. i'm slightly at a loss for words about your question and then the information you provide. A uterine cyst is on the uterous. yet you stated they took out your appendix...it truly is 2 distinct issues. you would possibly want to attempt going to a gastrointestinal dr and word what they say.

Are you sure it isnt an ovarian cyst, I would suggest an anti-inflammitory such as Tylonol (ibupropen), and a heating pad on low.

You can use ibuprofen. I get them myself and tend to just suffer through the pain. Not anything else to do since we can't stop it or control it except for taking the pill.
