Oh my gosh!!! I mean, i know how 2 hip hop dance but dont know what would and wouldnt be classified as hip hop moves!!! I m goin 2 an audition 2morrow for a dance scholarship, and need to practice NOW! But everything I look up is either not free (of course) or not what Im looking 4! Does any1 have any tips, or know whats hip hop or not????? Plz help me!!! Im DESPERATE!!!!

I say go with what you know and don't worry too much about what is hip hop and what's not. If you have a willingness to learn new moves and are good at dancing, then there won't be a problem. Most likely you will catch their eye because you will be different.

I would classify the following moves as hip - hop : step touch, bend and punch, chest contractions, jump and spin, etc. And these are only the basics. You can put your own twist into it. I would also put some break dancing in there. Use a lot of energy and bounce in every step you do. I know this isn't really detailed, but hopefully it will give you an idea of a few basic steps. Add your own arms. Have fun. Good Luck!

Hip hop has a beat you have to groove to. I don't understand that there's moves that can only be one or the other. I prefer to explore different moves. If I see a move, sometimes I can make it fit in my dancing.
Of course, I've never gone to dance school, so the world probably says I don't know as much as dance experts.

hi, just a suggestion but you could put the question in the beginning, instead of "Help, PLEASE HELP" maybe say "I need help with hip hop dance moves tonight, please help" ...most people ignore questions that arent questions till you click on them
