Okay, so it really doesn't bother me or anything, but why am I so differant form everyone? Even when I think I am being normal, people think I am odd/peculiar/weird. A lot of people love me for it (rather than in spite of it), but I am just curious about WHY I am that way? I don't even know WHAT characteristics make me differant. People just say I am differant/weird/peculiar.

I have thought maybe it has something to do with the paranormal? But I don't exhibit the most tell-tale signs of being a vampire or anything (real vamps, not like the undead or something like that). In fact, I am almost the anti-psyvamp (I prefer to be submissive over the dominating one, for example).

But it is confusing, because I had a girl refuse to date me because I "strive on being differant", and I thought I was really being normal around her...

Also, for those who DO beleive in the paranormal stuff like vampires, is there perhaps something else along those lines that I might be?

Please note that a real vampire (if you beleive in them) is completely differant than Dracula, isn't associated with any fictional undead members, or anything like that...

Also, I do embrace my uniqueness... And I am not complaining about it. like I said, it is the reason many people like me so well. I have no real enemies, and others take up with me quickly.

I also realize everyone is uniquie... My question is why am I so much more differant than them that literally EVERYONE tells me so?

People seem to be thinking I beleive my uniqeness is a bad thing... this isn't a rant or a cry for help. It isn't a thread requesting pitty because no one likes me...

To the contrary, I have many friends, am very articulate (although not the best speller, hahaha), do very well in college and have a pretty good job. I am extraverted, and am in no way depressed.

From my experiences, it seems like anyone who questions the world or is open to any sort of new idea is seen as a peculiarity to those who have no inclination to question the world beyond their own sensations of it.

Oh, really, you're different? You tell me! Everyone these days just seem to be 'different'! And, it's completely going wrong... Conforming? Whatever. Just live your life and be happy with what uniqueness lies in you... embrace it.

I've heard many a poeple whining about these kinda things! So, different to me is crashing for the normal side!

So are you saying you are a zombie or something like that?
Maybe you are so different because you make absolutely no sense.

I THINK WE ARE ALL UNIQUE IN OUR OWN WAY. SOME OF US CHOOSE TO CONFORM AND BE LIKE THE REST OF THE WORLD. EMBRACE YOUR UNIQUENESS AND LET IT WORK FOR YOU.
