I hate to break your friends heart but the rhythm method is not that accurate, unless by some miracle her ovulation is dead on every month, but lets face it there are a lot of things that can alter the day you ovulate. The condom that is used all the time is a lot better than that and it's not that fail proof either. Pulling out early when she is ovulating isn't going to save much unless they really use a condom, because sperm still escape before ejaculation/orgasm happens. I believe the condom has saved them so far.

No, the rythm method is unreliable even when strictly attended to because women's bodies are so dynamic and sometimes people just want to get at it whether she's ovulating or not. The reason that she has never gotten pregnant has absolutely nothing to do with the rythm method, it has to do with them using a condom. They could have sex any time and never pull out and, provided that it's a new condom used properly, she would have a tremendously low risk of getting pregnant.

Most likely it's the condom preventing pregnancy. The rhythm method is generally a natural way of preventing pregnancy - without using any other contraceptives. Does it work? Sort of... been using it for 13 years and I only have 2 kids!!!

Your friend says it is the rhythm method that prevents pregnancy but she always uses a condom? How does she know whether the method works or not if she uses condoms?
No, the rhythm method by itself is not infalliable, yr friend should not rely on it but if she is using condoms there should be no problem anyway.

The Rhythm method is the least effective birth control. It's not birth control at all because it does not work. Many babies have been born because of it.
She should use a condom all the time.

condoms are over 95% effective when used properly, the rythem method is about 70% effective, and you must understand your ovulation cycle, it sounds like a great combination that should be highly effective

Not really. They have tests now that will tell you when you ovulate and when you are most fertile. If you don't use Birth control methods and are playing that game of chance, those can help you some what.

No...it didn't. I had a condom break while I was inside, but I didn't realize it. I was freaking out when I realized but she wasn't. She thought she couldn't get pregnant at that particular time. I believed her. But one month later . . .
