Yeah, I don't really see how they can't be. they are completely handcuffed. It's been a sad situation for 12 + years w/ that franchise.

I would have to say no, for several reasons. Even though many of the other teams like the Reds, Pirates, Cubs and Brewers have improved themselves, the Nationals only really lost one impact player, Alfonso Soriano. The Nationals have a pretty good minor league system that is full of talent and lets face it, Frank Robinson was getting too old and stubborn as a manager. If they can get just a little more talent through a trade, they will avoid being a doormat team.

Tough to answer due to the number of below 500 teams in the National League. However if I were to harbor a guess, my money would be on the Rockies

Yes they are and Pirates, Marlins, Royals and Rockies. Cubs are going to win the 2007 World Series!

Yes. They made a dumb move getting rid of Robinson as manager. They lost Soriano then they don't retain Robinson. Bad management.
