The next thing you know it's two hours past the time you where supposed to be at work, and your hearts pounding in your chest while you pray to god that you still have a job? lol I did that a few years ago.

It's happened a lot, especially when I was a student, and I'd think "just a few more minutes". So I missed a couple of classes. Sometimes, the alarm would come on, and I'd hit the snooze again and again until I was able to convince myself that it was too late to get up and go to class anyway.
Now, I have my own alarms, aged 5 and 2.5. NOTHING stops them from going off.

I've done that a few times myself. Or maybe I turned the alarm off then went back to sleep anyways. I was tired and don't remember. The body is funny about sleeping. It will trick itself to get that sleep, and we end up with the consequences. I'm lucky with the job I have right now because I don't have a set time for work, but a window of time to get there. I get there late I just leave late.

I have the exact opposite for a problem, I can easily wake up 10-15 mins. before my alarm clock goes off. I always think, "I would feel better if I had just 10-15 more mins. of sleep. If I'm able to fall back asleep, the alarm goes off about 2 seconds after I shut my eyes!

Yes, I've done that before. Usually I wake up about 7 minutes before I'm supposed to be at work, and I have a 20 minute drive

yes! my phone is my alarm, and I hit the snooze, and it never came back on.
I thought my phone alarm or sound was bad- so I set it on Vibrate . with no sound,... I'm so dumb, it was just one of those things that happens.
