yes I like anime but it depends on some type of women. Some do like while others don't. About the 3 anime that you mentioned, Macross was one of my favorite. I also watched Macross plus. As for Bubblegu,m crisis.....woooow that was a long time ago. I was only able to watche the first 10 episodes cuz my cousin stoped renting them soo yeah...it was good. I haven't watch Tekkaman blade yet

huwahahaha....ur dad is totally out of this world.im 100% agree with prisonerofdepths's.why dont u surf the net and look out for any web that tell u the meaning of anime.u'll be suprise 2 see how many of the anime genre is specially made 4 the girls.

Lol. What are you talking about??? Are you kidding me? Of course there are a lot of women who are anime fans.
I'm afraid your dad doesn't know much about anime. He thinks anime is limited to mecha stuff (mecha = robots, cars, fights, typical male stuff.) There is indeed a genre called meccha in anime, but anime has a lot more genres.
Plus, there are certain genres like yaoi and shounen-ai who are created specifically FOR women. Stop listening to your parents. They don't know as much as an obsessed teen does. ~
