The answer is the Blue River, known in traditional Chinese as the "Yangtze," or in the pin yin Chinese of the Communist regime as the "Chang." At 3,900 miles long, it is over 500 miles longer than the second longest, the Yellow River ("Huang He" in pin yin) at 3,395 miles. Then come the Ob River, 3,362 miles; the Amur, 2,761 miles; and the Lena, 2,700 miles. I think one of the answerers made a really terrible stab at the No. 6, the Mekong River. At 2,600 miles long, it would be respectable anywhere else, but it's only the sixth longest in Asia.

The Yangtze River is the longest river in Asia, which stretches over 5,470 km through central China.
It flows from the peaks of the Kunlun Mountains in the southwest of Qinghai Province through Sichuan, Hubei, Anhui and Jiangsu Provinces in the northeast, east and central parts of China, until it finally reaches the mouth of the East China Sea, north of Shanghai.

The lengths of river depend much upon definition.
In my childhood days Oxford atlas listed Missouri- Missisipi as the third longest after Nile & Amazon. But now Yantze is third. Missori- Missisipi is 4th.
