Becuase sometimes, light can oxidize the chemicals inside the bottle, so if you have a dark bottle, light can not pass throu as easily and the medicine/perfume lasts longer

Light and heat may affect the compounds in the bottle. So to prevent the solutions inside the bottles turn into different solutions, and to prevent the solutions from being vaporized, dark coloured bottles are used.
