How do you know yo're a lesbian , if you think your bisexual?

While I am neither lesbain or Bi, I have a lot of friends who are and I have asked that question. I have been told that if you are attracted to both sexes than you might be bi. If you are only attracted to and exeirted by women you are definitely a lesbian. Some lesbians come out as bi, but eventually choose only women once they are comfortable with who they are. There is still a lot of social bias out there and sometimes it is easier to say you are bi, even if you know you are attracted to only women.

Honestly I think more women are Bi-Sexual than they are willing to admit......And I think more women are lesbians, but are terrified because of society to admit it. It's a shame, people should be able to just "BE". Just my opinion.

To know if your truly a lesbian takes time and thought, If you are attracted to men only romantically and not sexually, and attracted to women sexually, you may be lesbian. But, If you do not like men whatsoever you are indeed a lesbian. But that's all you, no pressure. If you have ever kissed a guy, remember how if felt. Did your heart start beating? Did you get butterflies? If you have ever kissed a girl, ask yourself those same questions. If you felt something towards both, you are bisexual. If you felt something towards just the female, you might be a lesbian. I wish you best of luck in your future relationships :)

The bisexual fase is something almost every gay person goes through. Some for a long time, some for a little, I think it's because for some gays, gender isn't a big issue, but that doesn't make you bisexual, that makes you pansexual. You have to discover your sexuality out on your own, without assistance or outside influences, when you finally do accept yourself, you'll be much happier. But I'm not saying you're not bi, you could be, just be sure.

Well it all depends if you feel like you can connect emotionally, mentally, sexually to both your bi but If you feel like you can only do that with one sex that's the sex you are attracted to but there is also sometimes the gender doesn't matter and it's just the person (personality) if that's the case your Pansexual

i think i am going thru that now... and am serioulsly thinking that i am waay more on the lesbian side than the bisexual side anymore...

i mean, ive pretty much always been with guys, but have been with a few girls... and nowdays,

* i check out girls way more than i used to [like all the time]
* sex with men has become more boring
* when i have sex with men, i usually have lesbian adult dvd's on in the
background
* fantasize about girls when i am at home "taking care of business"

so i dunno what to tell you, other than, there are other people who might be thinking the same things that you are.

i have come to the conclusion that whoever i fall in love with, be it a guy or girl, that's who i am supposed to be with. i'm not going to put a label on my feelings or sexuality.

Sexual identity is extremely important in our culture. Sometimes you find yourself being pushed (labeled) as an opposite before you even have to experience to tell.

Rather than worry about the labels, just do the best your can with the opportunities you have. Don't limited yourself too quickly.
