Definitely. In fact, even though the big fella won't be back for a couple more games, they have played much better recently. I still think if Wade and Shaq are healthy for the playoff run, they should win the east again.
Cleveland? No. LeBron needs more help. The Cavs need to get a better point guard.
Chicago? No. To inconsistent, and they really don't have a "go to" player.
Detroit? Maybe. The addition of Webber will help, and if they could pull off a trade before the deadline, for a better reserve guard then what they have, they could contend.
Orlando? New Jersey? Indiana? Washington? No way in hell.

It depends on a few things. First of all, whether we like it or not, he is aging and is not the same old Shaq as before. Now that the general consensus is that Yao is the best center just shows how Shaq's once invincable image has lessened. Now that he isn't that strong, Shaq's power game may be compromised, and the fact that he has never been that fast doesn't help the situation either. However, even at this age, he can still be a solid big man for the Heat.
I see Shaq playing up to 20-25 minutes at 100% and contributing to the Heat, but I don't think he will have a big impact on the Heat, seeing that they are picking up the pace at this moment without him.

They just got beat by the worst team in the league, what do you think?
Shaq was great a couple years ago but he's old and his cardio is junk. He was out of condition at the beginning of the season, imagine how bad he's gonna be after not playing at all for 2.5 months. Real bad! It'll take more than Shaq to get the Heat running. But then again it doesn't take much to get your team going in the east.

I think they will and they need to. If they want to make another repeat championship, they're going to need to get higher in the East. It's going to be tough though, Shaq is still going to be a bit rusty, Pat Riley is still missing, and their bench is going to need to step up. I don't think they'll make a huge run, but probably enough to improve their record and put them higher up in the East rankings. They have a team with a lot of old veteran players, so it's going to be tough to keep everyone healthy. So don't expect a huge run.

They will definetely make a run and probably squeeze into the playoffs. They can't get past the 2nd round though. Shaq has turned into a liability in the playoffs.

oh definately. shaq even tho he is way past his prime is still effective on the court. he draws a lot of attention and causes teams to focus on him and wade. shaq creates shots for guys like posey and kapono and makes it easier for wade.

NO, he is not that good anymore, and definitely not the best center in the NBA. Yao and Dwight Howard are better.
