The procedure you're inquiring about is called an ear lavage. Basically, it'll cost you whatever a medical visit at your usual doctor does and then about $50-60 on top of that. If you have health insurance (and the doctor contracts with them), then it'll only cost the more expensive of the two probably, since insurance will only cover either a medical visit or an ear lavage but not both. So it won't be too expensive at all if you're insured.

If you have no insurance, average doctor visit is $40-80 these days.
If it's just wax build-up, it's a very simple procedure. I've had it done and it feels much better (not to mention sounds better) afterwards.
Doctor tilts your head over an emesis tray and carefully squirts a solution into your ear. Pressure and the proper tilt causes the gunk to pop out in a wad. Only takes a coupla minutes. Worth it.

First are your ears clogged with ear wax? If so there is a product called debrox it really hydrogen peroxide with a small bit of dry agent like alcohol. If this does not work I suggest you see a doctor your hearing is nothing to play with.

I'm offended. What, are you referring to my ears.
Try hydrogen peroxide for a couple minutes and then drain.
Or warm mineral oil w/ heating pad, but you have to be so cautious w/ heat and oil.
