Non-fiction
The two best are "They Cage the Animals at Night" by Jennings Michael Burch and "And the Violins Stopped Playing" by Alexander Ramati. The first is about a kid growing up with all kinds of obstacles; the second is about the Nazi extermination of the Gypies.

Only non-fiction these days. The older I get the less the fake works for me. I would rather read about history so I know when we are about to repeat a mistake.

I read more non fiction than anything. I like Bio's and Memoirs, current events and Politics. I do read a little fiction. I love Adriana Trigiani
