When people cheat it usually has very little to do with sex and they don't intentionally mean to hurt the one they're "with". People cheat because they are subconsciously lacking something in their current relationship and go looking for that quality in someone else to fill the void. They eventually realize they can't find it, especially since they don't even know what they are looking for in the first place. By the time this is figured out they feel they have already burnt bridges. They don't tell the other person because they're too afraid and don't know how to break it to them or too full of pride to admit they f***ed up. I'm not saying that this is a good excuse. It's just in psychology terms of why.

My husband cheated and I know he did but wont admit totally to it, he spent the night at another womans house and he said he only kissed her and danced at the bar with her that was 2 years ago and I spend almost every day thinking about it, If you love someone think about the pain and heartbreak it is for them, we are still together but i cant trust anymore like i did i thought he loved me , why do people do this why not just divorce and see other people,not while you are in a relationship, when people cheat they usually find out the other person they are seeing is not as good as the one who really loves them then that loved one finds out and has to deal with alot of pain, usually we take them back but now I wonder should I look at the other people who hit on me , are they going to make me happier since my spouse thought someone else was better for him{ turns out she was out for everything in pants ] but that dont make me happy I am sad he was looking

I cheated cause of hormones. My hormones got too strong for me to control and i was drinking so i was more relaxed. No i didnt tell him, i didnt try to get back with him cause i figured that i didnt love him as much as i thought i did if i could cheat on him (since i was a virgin)

I cheated cause he cheated on me first and I thought revenge was the best way to go. It wasn't I felt worse. And yes I told him and he told me I had every right then all was forgiven.But I didn't feel better

In the past I have and it always caught up with me. Now I try not to put myself in situations where I would have to lie. I did the things I did then because, I thought I could get away with it. Now I know better.

I cheated on her one day, and then hours later I confessed to her. That was on Nov 2005, and Im still with her today.
I guess I did it because I could and the opportunity was there so i took it. I didnt realize that it would hurt both me and my girlfriend. I regret that so much.

My ex was a control freak and he always made me feel bad for spending money. He became a father figure to me and plus, put on a ton of weight. Yeah he was a fatty. We just grew apart and I am happier now than I ever was.

i cheated on this one guy and i don't really know why it happened but it just did and i never thought n e thing about it again until he said my most dreaded words "I LOVE YOU" and i felt bad so I told him and he was not mad at all !!! Oh and the reason i hate those words is cuz to many guys use them without actually meaning them

As far as lie...most people can not handle the truth or they are chicken and scared they will be left alone. My ex cheated on me and no I did not take his sorry butt back_
