I think my best memory is of the Seas Aqua Tour at EPCOT. It was just so amazing! We took a short tour around the Living Seas Pavilion, then we went behind the scenes. We saw the manatees in the back pool. It was great being able to take our time to watch them without having to worry if we were blocking a child's view or anything. And there wasn't a rail around the tank, so we could just look straight down into the pool they were swimming in (we could've reached right in and touched them... if it were allowed). Our guide gave us some inside information about the new Finding Nemo attraction which hadn't opened yet. We watched a short movie about the different fish in the aquarium and then we headed to the changing rooms to get into our wetsuits. It was so funny - I walked out of the changing room and everyone was waiting outside. I looked at everyone and all of their zippers are in the front. I had mine in the back (I thought that was how it went). I asked if I had it on the wrong way, one other family said yes, so I went back to change it. Two seconds later the two little girls come running into the changing room... "don't change it! Don't change it! You were right!" lol It was so cute. I knew I had it right. Luckily, I hadn't gotten out of the wetsuit yet, so I didn't have to change it back. But I did help the little girls zip up their wetsuits once they changed because they couldn't reach them in the back. Anyway, so after all that we went out into the Living Seas Pavilion. Everyone thought that because we had on wetsuits we were Cast Members. We climbed up this tight spiral staircase to the deck, stepped right in the water and put on our SCUBA gear. Before we actually went under water they took our picture. After that we were on our own. There were two guides in the water with us, but everyone is allowed to swim off on their own to explore the entire time. It was a lot of fun! It was incredible looking down at all those big sharks below! And the sea turtles and sting rays swim right up to you and touch you! It's so awesome! We were in the water for about a half an hour, but it felt a lot longer. It was an amazing experience! I can't wait to do it again this summer! It was just so much fun, I can't even exlain. And all the little kids watching... they were so happy to watch us. They get all excited and wave, and then they get even more excited when they see that you actually notice them too wave back. And at the end of the tour we got our free picture and a free t-shirt. Snacks and drinks were also provided.

If anyone is ever at EPCOT and bored of seeing the same attractions you've seen before, and you want to try something new, definitely take one of the tours at the Living Seas Pavilion. There's the Seas Aqua Tour, the Dolphins in Depth Tour, and there's tour especially for certified SCUBA divers.

I used to work for Disney.. I was part of a one year international program called "Fellowship Program" representing Mexico at the mexican pavillion.
It was a one year contract and although I was "working", I literally had the best year of my life. I met a lot of people from around the world, lived in a nice complex, etc.
It was great to be part of Disney, go backstage, share with guests, take photographs of them, etc. Disney is a great company with a great philosophy,up to date, when I mention Disney at any job interview, I get a smile and admiration from people.

The only sad thing I remember? Watching Cindirella smoke a cigarrete backstage just before the parade... it was disappointing :(

my husband, two daughters (6 and 4), and i went to eat dinner at the Crystal Palace in MK. all the characters went around once and they basically tell you if the characters are less than ten tables away, if you are away either at the buffet counter or in the restroom that you will miss them and they won't be around for at least another 45 minutes. well, the characters all went through once and we didn't realize they go around again and again when they are able to. my 6 year old missed Tigger because my husband took her to the restroom and HE took too long. my four year old told Tigger her sister was six and she loves Tigger so she will be sad. as soon as my daughter sat back down there was Tigger! that really made her day.

everything is computerized and they have a manager there with a palm pilot keeping track of who gets the characters so everyone gets a fair shake. nothing major but it means the world to the kids.

The best memory to describe my Disney experience in one moment happend recently so I am glad to pass it along. At the Main Street Bakery I ordered a sweet bun but they said to wait five minutes for a fresh tray. There was one sitting there in a clam shell but the person next to me claimed it and was waiting for another.I said let me have that bun since you are waiting for another, you can then get two hot fresh buns.

This proposition met with stares and a sick expression from the castmember. The pair I delt with taught me that people are more alike than different, one was black and one was white, one was a man and one was a woman, one was young and one was old.I excused myself without a bun but departed with the human genome I shared with them.
