*Please use parenthesis. Do you mean: (8/5)*(3/6)?

1. (8/5) * (3/6)
First: multiply the numerators & the denominators, separately...

(8*3)/(5*6)
24/30

Sec: simplify the fraction into lowest terms, if possible...

4/5

With or without any parentheses, it's 4/5 either way.

8 divided by 5 is 8/5
8/5 times 3 is 24/5
24/5 divided by 6 is 4/5

or you can just do the fraction way

8/5 * 3/6 = 8/5 * 1/2 = 4/5

multiply the numerator by the numerator and then multiply the denominator by the denominator.

8/5 x 3/6
(8x3)/(5x6)=24/30=4/5

multiply it numeratot to numerator and denominator to denominator.

8 x 3 will be 24, and
5 x 6 will be 30.

the answer will now be 24/30. but it's not the final answer, you must next reduce it to lowest terms. so the final answer will be: 4/5

you can multiply the numerators and the denominators individually. the answer will be, 24/30. or to reduce it to lowest terms, the answer is 4/5. the other way is cancellation. you can cancel numerators and denominators if they have common factors.

are there parenthesis around the division?
if not, then just divide 8 by five, multiply by 3, and divide by 6.
if there are, then divide first then multiply
