There are many products you can use, although if your vagina is sensitive and you are prone to UTIs (urinary tract infections) and/or yeast infections, I would discourage using the products or putting any soap down there at all. This means no bubble baths. However, a great product that I love is called Summer's Eve. You can get it al Wal-Mart in the tampon aisle. They have a kind for sensitive vaginas, but use at your own discretion. If your vagina is sensitive, it may still get angry at you for lathering it up, even with the sensitive stuff. :)

You can always just wash it off with water. I like to carry little baby wipes with me so when I wipe and I'm not at home, I can stay fresh. However, we're supposed to be a *little* smelly down there so if it isn't overwhelming, don't worry about it. (A man's penis stinks too, IMHO.) Womanly advice: Never douche. Many women still douche and it's horrible. Sure, their love ovals smell like a spring breeze but it messes up the pH balance of the vagina. Our vaginas have both good and bad bacteria and we need a little bit of both in there. Douching causes these bacteria to be flushed out and that disrupts the natural ecosystem that is the vagina. This can cause very bad yeast infections. If you've never had one, believe me, you don't want one.

Also, if your vagina is rather smelly (not just normal smelly), you may have an infection. If you need girls to talk to, you can always join the tmi_chix community on livejournal. It's a great place to talk to other women who are more than willing to help you out. Also, this place seems pretty open too, however I don't know the restrictions on what we can and cannot post about. :)

I hope that helped!

If your having trouble staying fresh then it might be a sign of some sort of infection. Try to find a free clinic. Most of the time you don't have to be 18 years old to see a doctor at a free clinic, and you can get treatment there as a minor as well. They also keep everything confidential, even from your parents if you want.

Showering once a day is adequate. If for some reason this isn't enough for you (i.e you notice some major smells or discharge) you should see a doctor, as it could be a sign of an infection.

In any case, if you're too long to see a doctor, you're also too young for it to matter how fresh you are down there!

NEVER use a douce or any of those feminine perfume products...very dangerous.

purchase moist wipes and keep them in your restroom, you can also get small packs to keep in your purse, it should be enough to keep you fresh, if you have a lot of problem, it may be caused by infection not hygene in which case you should just tell your mom you feel ill and crampy and ask to visit a doctor, you are old enough to talk to any doctor and you have a right to do so if you are concerned, if you dont know how to see one, look up the on call nurse at your local hospital and they can help you

You can use a feminine wash to clean yourself down there, b/c its sensitive and can be used without harming your body. soaps and body washes aren't the best thing to use. Try Summer's Eve, i don't know how old you are, but if you're old enough to go to the store then you can buy it at any drug or grocery store.

also some women sprinkle baby powder on their underwear to remain dry, fresh and clean... this might be easier to get a hold of and use w/o your mom's permission.

There are a lot of products you can buy at the store they are right there in the same section with feminine hygiene products. Go into a drug store and read them. There is a lot you can use it is just finding what is right for you.
