I have stayed at the Mirage and Mandalay Bay. No first hand experience with Bellagio (except the shops and to see the fountains out front). I would still pick Mandalay Bay. That place is fantastic! The rooms are beautiful, the casino is really swank, and the pools and grounds are incredible! They have great restaurants there -- a HUGE selection of them -- and some fun bars. Try Rumjungle one night. It's so cool! Mamma Mia is still playing there, so you could go see it -- it's a fun show, particularly if you like ABBA. :) Shark Reef is also a fun, interesting place to spend an afternoon.
Man, I'm jealous! You are going to have a great time. I live in Hawaii and haven't been to Vegas in a year and a half and I'm jonesing for it!

Mirage WAS my favorite until they were bought by Mandalay Bay, now it's crap. Nice, but crap. They haven't screwed with the rooms yet which is a plus, so the rooms I give 2 thumbs up.
Bellagio is way cool but the employees there are snobs and look down on you if you're not "wealthy," or appear to be. The rooms here, ESPECIALLY the suites, are the best I've seen thus far.
Mandalay Bay is nice, sports book is great. No room experience.
The Wynn...now THERE'S a great place. He took everything that was FABULOUS of Bellagio and Mirage and built one heck of a resort. I'd pick this one everyday of the week!

Depends on where you want to be. Mandalay Bay is the last hotel on the strip, youd have to walk a long way to get to the middle of the strip to see the other properties if you are wanting to site see. Bellagio is central to everything honestly. Mirage is about a block away, on the other side of Ceasar's. Of the 3, if you want luxury and location, go with Bellagio. If you prefer MB and dont care that its on the far end...go with MB. Mirage would be the 3rd choice in the mix. I worked there and it was alright, and would be the cheaper of the 3. So...personally, if you want to see a lot more, go Bellagio.
There is a lot of construction going on right now in the central strip area. Where the Board Walk casino used to be is now a developing lot for the new City Center. So, you'd have to walk on the other side of Las Vegas Blvd (MGM) side and then up and then back over once you got to Bellagio...it's a real pain in the butt, but a nice walk if you go before it gets 120.

If you can afford to stay at Bellagio, then those other two places shouldn't even be on your list. Bellagio is the nicest resort in the city.
