If your girlfriend started puberty early (9-10) then she may actually be normal and just seems unusually large for her age only because most 14 year old girls are only nearing the half-way point of puberty while she is closer to finishing. In this case she may reach her final breast size and stop growing around 15-16, while the other girls that started puberty around the average age of 11-12 won't be finished growing until about 17-18.
If she was completely flat at 11-12 and went from A-cup to D-cup in just 2 years she may have a genetic abnormality. It sounds like she has a medical condition similar to the actress Soleil Moon Frye (from the TV show Punky Brewster back in the 80's and more recently the show Sabrina The Teenage Witch). I can't remember the latin terminology for the medical condition, but basically translates into "Giant Breast" in which the breast grow at an accelerated rate during puberty and as a result become several times larger than the average breast.
This is Soleil Moone Frye in the early 90's when she was about 15 and about a 36DD.

She had to get breast reduction surgery because having such large heavy breast on a small "average" body frame was causing her severe back problems.
You didn't mention how much your girlfriend weighs. If she's chubby or overweight to begin with a stocky, rounder frame then it may just seem like her breast are larger than usual. If she's around "average" weight and build (i.e. looking like the typical skinny, top-heavy pornstar, but with natural/non-implant boobs) then she may have the same medical condistion as Soleil Moon Frye and will most likey need to get breast reduction surgery if she has a lot of pain and breathing problems because of the weight of her breast.

Well when I was her age I was around the same size but now that I am 20 and i have had one child I am a 34 JJ my doctor has told me that every since i was little I had a hormonal problem which makes them grow so now I am actually scheduled for a breast reduction next month and my insurance will cover every thing because they say big breast are a health issue in many ways. so basically to answer your question her breast are still gowing due to the fact that she is now only 14 so shes in the middle of her growth spirt and since she is already a d nine times out of teen shes going to be a lot bigger than that.

i just turned 15 in december.. and i am a 34 dd now but i am not fat or anything.... when i was 14 i was the same size i am now.. and i am a freshman also... its nothing strange... some people just mature in places quicker than others!! i hit puberty when i was 9 years old and in 4ht grade.... some peolpe just have larger breasts than others.... maybe the reason that they are growin so fast are because she has reached the time in her life that its time for them to grow... dont like freak out about it!! it perfectly normal!! trust me!! my boobs grew from a d to a dd in like a month and a half!! hope this helped!!

Working on the assumption that this is a sincere question .. some ladies continue to develop and have very large breasts. Some end up having breast reduction surgery ....because the weight of their breasts begins to cause backaches and other problems. Good Luck ! :)

As said in the other question, women grow differently. Some women get HUGE and some women do not. Your g/f is one who does get huge. I hope she isn't having back trouble like I was (got a breast reduction and love it).

Hey, it happens. There is no medical expl that you could find on this site to explain. Unless she is gaining mad weight, the only person who could give you a straight answer would be God himself. Especially if BOTH sides of the family have the bird-chest disease. :)
