Statutory rape is when an adult person has sexual relations with an underage person even if the underaged person consented. Statutory rape is considered a crime against the parents.

Well, it may not be rape, but if you get caught kissing the statuary, the security guards will kick you out of the museum for sure!

No I don't think so. Statutory rape by definition is sex with a minor under the age of consent. Kissing a child could fall under molestation, but statutory rape only applies where someone has had SEX with a child who legally isn't old enough to give permission.

Its not rape. But its considered as sexual harresment or eveteasing case. And if the girl is under 18, you are gone...
Better ask her permission.

no but it can be indecency with a minor which might still set you up as a sex offender for the rest of your life. Anyway, who knows where the kissing will lead?
Basically, if your partner is underage, just stay away.

if you touch a girl and you are over 18, you can be charged with stat rape. any sexual touching at all.
if she says, "he only kissed me" BAM. you can be charged.
