u have to wait until you are ableto upgrade which is 2 months i believe before the contract is up.. if you sweet talk customer service they may be able to help tho with an exception upgrade( which you pay a portion of the phone price not the upgrade price if any). I used to work for them.

I have Cingular for about two years now. According to their terms you can upgrade your phone on the 21st month of your 24 months of contract, which basically means when you reach the last three months of contract then you are eligible for a upgrade on your phone.

By the way Cingular will look at your payment history to see if you have any late or delinquent payments during your contract for you to be eligible for a upgrade on your phone.

You can upgrade...you'll just renew your contract if you don't want to pay full price for the phone.

Yes, but you have to renew your contract - sign again and start over with 2 years.
