Most people use the word neanderthal as an insult to someone's intelligence. Neanderthals were a species of humans that went extinct thousands of years ago during the paleolithic period of history. It his widely accepted by anthropologists that another group of early homosapiens (us) had adaptations superior to those of their cousins, the neanderthal, like language which may have contributed to thier demise.

It's not racial. A neanderthal is a different species. Human-like but considered to be a stage behind humans in evolutionary terms. You could call someone a neanderthal if they were tall, big/hulking, or stupid. Sort of like calling someone an ape, gorilla, bear etc

It's not racial nor does it have to do with vertical position. Neanderthal is the technical term for what others know as a "caveman". Namely, early humans who discovered fire, created tools to hunt and work, and and known for their "knuckle-walking". It is also believed by some that Neanderthals were the final step of mutation from monkey to man.

I hope that clears things up for you.

for my area, somebody is a sellout while they experience shame interior the racial group they belong to. They agree and basically see the undesirable component of their race. as an occasion, permit's take a black guy who's of the same opinion with the thought that black everyone seems to be companies to crime and are not appealing. in this occasion, he's advertising the assumption of a bad stereotype on the same time as he himself is black. Sellouts are truthfully appeasing to a distinctive group by way of fact they are ashamed or have been "tricked" into believing a bad stereotype of their very own people.

No. It's technically a scientific term, sometimes used derogatorily in reference to men.

Neither. It is a term you use when describing an ancestor of humans. We are homosapiens. Our ancestors were Neanderthals.
