The fact that it is whipped tells me it has moisturizers in it and would not be beneficial for oily skin. If you are trying to cover up redness try Elizabeth Arden's Flawless Finish that comes in a compact, not a bottle. It's a very dense foundation that you apply with a sponge. For more coverage use a dry sponge, for less, wet the sponge first. It stays all day and doesn't make your skin oily or dry.

I would definitely recommend this makeup for oily/shiny skin. I bought some last week and I love it. I have extremely oily skin and this makeup stays matte for a long time. It also takes WAY less of it to cover more space compared to liquid foundations - the first time I used it, I finished my face and still had enough left on the sponge for about 3 more applications.

Well first does the foundation say that it is oil free, because whipped sounds like it may have oil in it. Second why would you wear a makeup from a drug store. I use clinique and if you go to them they will find the right foundation for you and color. You get what you pay for right?

It's light. It won't clog your pores and will control your oiliness.
