My house is gonna be rebluided and im gonna live in an apartment for 6 months my parents are gonna do it but me and m brother have second toughts about it on news always hear killings in apartments and stuff

Yes, many killings happen in apartment complexes. Many people die from suicidal tenants endangering others.

Depends if its in a crappy neighborhood or whatever. Ive lived in both right now im in a bit more expensive apartment in a nicer area and its really quiet, but before i have lived in one where there was gun shots and the ghettobird was always above head. Anyway even in a good aaprtment you have to remember there can always be some dumb *** neighbor who leaves a candle burning and burn the whole damn place down. So your affected if your neighbors are complete morons.

People get killed in all types of housing. Take precautions and check out the security and safety of any place you move. The incidences are naturally higher because there is a more densely concentrated population in apartment complexes.

Apartments is no different with townhouses, condos and hotels but to be certain, find an apartment in a relatively peaceful community and don't stay late outside.

And the answer is yes and no. Some apartment complexes are dangerous and others are not. Try to stick to gated or limited-entry complexes and stay in nicer parts of town. In many places, apartment complexes are safer than many neighborhoods with houses.
