you were working on a group project where the teacher assigns the grpup of 4 people, and 2 of the people are already friends, they go ahead start working on the project w/o discussing it w/ the other group members. Then later on in the project accuse us of not doing any work in the project and tell us we need to do some work.

People have already covered the obvious answers - talk to your teacher about it.. split off from them and form your own group... etc. etc. and these are great answers. I'm going to give you a different one though.

Take it and run with it. If they tell you you need to do some work, do some work. Don't do it because you're agreeing with them that you weren't doing the work, but rather do it because it's your project too and if they're going to give you crap then you need to start doing it for yourself. Organize the group meetings and ask them to participate. Get the project rolling on your own, then try to integrate what they have. Most importantly though, involve them in your final solution. Bring your team together and put out the best possible product, and then nobody will be able to say you didn't keep your end up.

It's important that you don't spend your time alienating people or distancing yourself from them, even if they're being stupid and trying to alienate you. Getting upset with people is a waste of your time. C'mon now, you're better than that! Now get this project going and don't let them give you 'no' for an answer!

Best of luck to you!

Talk to the teacher about it. I can't tell you how many times this happened to me in high school.

Tell the teacher that they're not letting you and the other group member get any work done (so that you don't get faulted for not "participating").
If you really can't stand being in their group, ask the teacher if you and the other person in your group can split off from the "cheerleader girls", or if you guys can latch onto another group.

That figures. Cheerleaders are thoughtless bits of fluff. They want to control everything and then bust everyone Else's chops when they don't join in. I would get the rest of the group together and talk to the teacher and explain what is going on to him/her. Don't expect talking to a cheerleader to do any good. They have their heads up each others you know what.

there's not much you can do except give them some info on the subject. Next time you need to let the 2 girls know you want to put your input on the project or let the teacher know you are being excluded

Tell the teacher that they aren't including you 2 and you would like another group, or your own small group... then see if these two will be able to remove the pom-poms from there a** in time to get it done all by themselves.

You can't change what has already happened. You know the turth as you see it so you can be confident in that it is no fault of your own that you haven't participated quite yet.

I would take this opportunity now to dive in and participate, because the bottom line is your good grades at school.

Last but not least is let your instructor/teacher know exactly what has transpired.
