I think if women made the laws...men would get 10 yrs for rape, 20 yrs for murder but same day execution by electric chair for cheating.

and which male genius determined this statistic? losing a kid to the heinous actions of some male psychotic is worse than all of those together. do you seriously think the loss of your dick would be more important to a woman than the loss of her child? ***** are a dime a dozen my friend. we can find those anywhere.

When a woman gives her whole heart and soul to a man, this includes her body. Most women make love as part of being the other half of their spouse.
Now, to take on another woman?? That is like making her love and devotion a dirty joke. It is degrading not only to her, but to her friends and family around her. It is the biggest slap in the face her spouse can give her.
For a man to cheat, he is saying something is lacking in my life, the woman who cleans my house, cooks, manages the bills, raises my children, stays up all nite when someone is sick, she is not sexy, she is just my maid.
Think about the implications here to the woman who has devoted her life and trust to a man who may not deserve it.

Security. If you go back 100 years, when women depended upon men to survive (for the most part), and for protection, her security depended upon his loyalty to her. It really isn't about the betrayal, although women tend to be more sentimental than men, and this does have a huge impact on her emotionally. Nowadays, if a man strays, the chances of him fathering a child with somebody else is also a threat to her security, especially if he has to pay child support. Then there is the threat of disease. Another factor is vanity. Women are competitive about their looks, and it is a blow to a woman's vanity that her mate has chosen someone else. And finally, cheating undermines trust, honesty, and committment, not to mention the violation of a sacred vow, if you are married. I also wouldn't say that your statement applies only to women. Plenty of men have committed murder because of cheating, and men can be fiercely jealous, for most of the same reasons, apparently.

I was cheated on less than a month ago...on Christmas, my favorite day of the year!
It hurts to be cheated on. It's a slap in the face to a girl who has loved him and has worked so hard to please him. Not only that but you have to go from loving him to hating him so quickly...it does stuff to your head. It's humiliating when others find out and it makes a girl feel less secure...like she did something wrong.
Anyone who cheats is VERY immature and cowardly. Haven't they ever heard of break up/divorce?
Good luck to you finding a girl who approves of you cheating!

because it tears your world apart. Here is the person that is to be faithful to you to deadth and he has violated the trust that you have built in him. When this happens you feel that you can never trust or love anyone again. this crime of cheating is worse than deadth, because with deadth you know they are gone forever, but you will always have it in your heart and mind.

And what would your reaction be to having a woman cheat on you? I think women in general are deeply hurt by the betrayal. I think men in general are more concerned with their egos when it happens to them. It goes hand-in-hand with the general male proprietary attitude toward women - she's MINE - hey, look at ME, what I got on MY arm, by MY side, in MY bed. Kinda like the gulls in "Finding Nemo" - MINE, MINE, MINE.

Women look at sex differently than males. To them it is more an emotional bonding than a physical act.
When you cheat, you belittle their emotional attachment to sex and thus belittles them - making them feel insignificant is one thing a woman will not abide.

Because it is the ultimate betrayal. Trust me, there is no greater pain when you love someone with all your heart and trusted them with your life only to find out you have NO value to them.
