Very excited and I am looking for really good tips that will save me money and aggrivation. I started out as a graphic artist and portrait painter many years ago. This will be my 5th business. I have had small businesses like day spas and supply companies. This appeals to me because of my art background. As usual I am flying solo so I know little, other than I want to get a solvent jet printer (very expensive) and a sand blaster for HDU. I have already bought a 36 inch vinyl plotter/cutter and I'm learning how to run software and cut with it. I set up an account with a Raleigh supplier, I'm in North Carolina. Ready to go! Thanks for any help.

Contact the local chamber of commerce & consider attending an event & joining as a member. The annual dues are usually quite inexpensive.

Make some contacts, & talk to one of the paid staff members for the chamber. They can feed you the name & particulars on every new business in the area for you to prospect.

Travel around town and see what businesses could really use one of your Signs, make up a few examples and pay them a visit.
