Don't listen to the first answer, I think she is refering to the Silicon Valley in No. Calif. and not the valley in LA. You want LA. Canoga Park is the headquarters for porn. As well as Ventura Blvd. The problem is that you have to start near the bottom, unless you are super hot and have multiple talents. It won't be easy. Try Lucky Media. They are middle of the road. You need to make a name for yourself before Vivid or any of the top names give you a shot. Now, Vivid can help you by referring other companies that they have relationships with. DO NOT send them video of you doing porn. Making an appointment is the key. You need to be mentally prepared, because it is not what you think it is. It is degrading for a women with self esteem those first few shoots.

Money and fame won't give you happiness. People will view you as used. You will find yourself in the company of people who only wish to exploit you for their own profit. You will never attract attention from a good guy. It will only be creeps who give you attention. I assume you like the attention of people looking at you, but I doubt you have any true idea about the negative effects it will have. If you want a truly happy life, I recommend you find a different career goal. I feel REALLY bad that you actually want to do that. I honestly don't want you to end up miserable because when you were 17 you thought this was a good idea, then once you got into it, found you couldn't get out. And I don't even know you! Do you really want to sabotage your own future?
Look. I don't want it sound like I am talking down to you. I am sure you have thought about this and it seems like a sure thing. But you have to know that your actions might cause some serious harm to others. Your movies or pictures could wreck someone's marriage. Possibly thousands of marriages. Porn can cause people to lose their jobs, and not least of all their self respect. Is that what you want to be your legacy to be?
You yourself increase your risk of STD's including aids by a huge percent. These are not things you can just blow off as trivial. They can be life wrecking! I don't know what to tell you if you have already made up your mind. Other than I am so sorry for what you are going to go through, simply because you are searching in the wrong place for happiness. I have nothing to gain from telling you to reconsider. You have everything to lose by ignoring me. My ultimate wish is that you would drop this idea, take out some loans and go to college and live the great life God has planned out for you. His way is ALWAYS the best. It is your choice though. If you do happen to make the wrong choice on this decision, I want you to remember that it is never too late to quit and start over. I hope you never feel too ashamed to come back to Jesus' arms. He will never turn you away. Please Please Please make the right choice.

do you realize that you are destroying any spirituality in this life? please use your energy in a different direction. It's hard to visualize but researching the past stars' lives may give you an objective view of your future life. Find some ex-porno stars from 20 30 years ago, see where they are now and if you genuinely want to seek a good career find out how the porno industry affects people later in life. If you want to be true to yourself and seek an honest assessment, you will do this research project, What you find will "Hook you up" or you will see what a bad choice it is.

I think you would be very foolish to get into an industry that you will most likely regret for the rest of your life after a few years of having sex with so many men. You would never know when you might end up with AID's. and think of the many in your family that you would hurt in doing this.

Go to an adult store and get some info. from the people at the video stores. OR try to pose for playboy. Also google info. on the Internet Xrated move gigs or adult industry links.
