I'm currently a highschool sophmore and I feel like I have nothing to go for. There are soo many choices for careers that I just can't seem to pick or know whats best for me =/. I want a career that has a salary of -atleast- around $65,000-80,000(US) or more a year... I HATE math/algebra but I like physics and chemistry. I also like art, design and graphics (but i dont consider myself an expert at it.).. I know this might be impossible but are thier any careers that dont require SOO much school?

So anyhow, anyone have any idea on what career/job I should try and look into? Oh and if you can please tell me how much years of school it will require that'll be nice too =).

I think one of the reason im un-decided is because... I just dont think im smart enough for anything (i currently only have a 83.9 average). Its just that most people I have met make it seem like you have to be a genius and have a 90 or above average to be successful in life and have a good job & future...

I would go for pharmacy. They make more than what you're looking for, and it involves chemistry. If i had it to do over, that's what I would have done ( i went into engineering which has a lot more math, but no chemistry ). Everyone I know who is a pharmacist says it's been a great job. The college work is fairly long and not easy, but if you like chemistry and physics, it should be fine. I believe that pharmacy schools are fairly competitive, so try to get A's in high school, and also in your first two years of college.
Seems to me like pharmacy work is easy.. you basically just need to know all about pills and medications, answer questions, and take home 100,000 dollars a year. There is usually a shortage of pharmacists too, so you get lots of overtime if you want it.

Other healthcare jobs might be good too. And they can't outsource that kind of work - so it's safer.

You are only a sophomore in high school! Although it is good to think about your career now, it's not likely that you will stick with this career until you are in college. Like my high school counselor said, it is actually normal to be undecided during the first year of college! A lot of students decide to change majors during college. You still have plenty of time to think about it. If you have a counselor at your high school, take some time to talk to him/her about what you just posted (like your interests and salary goal), they know a lot more about these things. That's what I did. You can make a list of careers that you're interested in and just take some time to research about them. Good luck.

deciding is hard, and starting early on decision is good.. i have that problem too... i'm a junior high student, you can say i'm smart but i dont know what field of expertise is suited for me, so i took some tests to test my skill, like in what aspects do i excel and it really helped a lot. this test was offered in our school, maybe you can ask your guidance counselor. but if ever the test will tell you a career you dont like always consider this queries. Do i like it? is this what i want? follow your heart but be practical too... If you think youre too dumb for it then you have too learn to trust yourself.. some advice will help but remember it will still be youre future, dont let others dictate you... Good Luck!! if you want less school that means vocational courses is what you're looking for. many school offer those kind but i dont think those jobs earns much. start asking schools or visit their websites where you can learn what kind of courses they're offering..

That's what General Ed classes are for in college. They give you an opportunity to explore and see what lights your passion fires. I started off as a geology major in college, drifted to nursing, and then completed a Masters 20 years later in a different but related field.

Take this time to open your mind, broaden your horizons. If you only seek that which will promise you a decent paycheck, it will be unlikely you will be happy.

Keep your options open

You know how people say do what you enjoy to do? Well I say don't do what you like to do. Do what is practical, something that is in demand...anything in the health field for example. People are always going to need a phlebotomist, pharmacist technicians, dental or medical assistants. These are careers that don't requiere more than one year of schooling after high school.

How lucky you are to be good in the sciences. You may want to consider any kind of medical career. In my area, there are some community colleges that offer radiology and other allied health field courses that can be completed in two years or less.

"in case you help Obama, press a million; in case you help Romney, press 2; If unsure or helping yet another candidate, press 3." This replace into from a working laptop or computing gadget poll I gained. maximum of of the "unsure" are actual Libertarians who've desperate to vote for Gary Johnson, and people who reported that they have got been going to write down in "not one of the above" while chatting with a stay pollster

Simply this...follow your passion. What is it that you like to do? Think about it...it's there. Could be more than one thing that you LOVE to do. Realize what that is and follow it. "Follow it" meaning, go to school and major in THAT.
Don't worry about the money !
Listen...if you do what you Love to do...the money will come. Trust this!
now go meditate and good luck to you!
