The difficulty that facilities face with nursing programs is not the lack of applicants its the lack of qualified nurse educators & funding. It is important for each State to recognise this and award grants to colleges/hospitals to aid in providing more staffing for nursing schools. It truly isn't the colleges fault that they have a wait list, they can only afford to take a set number of students based on funding & staffing.
