You should see a doctor. You could be anemic. There may be other illnesses that cause that too.

me too! when i was in europe, 6 years ago, i got the best explanation from a swiss pharmacist.
i was backpacking and happened to mention it to him, and he was the first person who didn't think it was anemia or something! (which i was tested for and my iron was actually HIGH)
anyway he said that many women bruise easily because we have thinner skin than men and also our blood vessels are closer to the surface, so easier to rupture. he also said if your skin is very delicate and/or fair, this makes it worse.
i have found that there are a few things that help but not 100%, if i still get whacked hard, it'll bruise.
but here's what helps:
-drinking lots of water
-NOT drinking alcohol. it's really weird, but even one glass of wine and i'll have a small bruise the next day.
-reducing advil and asprin, becaue they thin the blood (just like alcohol) .. again, even one dose and i'll see a bruise the next day.
-vigorously rubbing the area i think may bruise, to spread the blood out so it can't settle. 30 seconds seems to be enough.
all of this was recommended to me in switzerland, as well as increasing my vitamin c. that seems to help too :)
he also gave me a homeopathic remedy: arnica gel. not sure if it works or not, but i do rub some on every time i find a bruise. i get it at whole foods.

If you bruise very easily you could have a problem. It's always better to be safe than sorry. See a Dr. and follow up with any testing that he may have for you. Some blood disorders can cause this. I pray it's not. But, it's better to know.

I suggest you have a check up and tell your doctor about what is going on with the bruising easily.

You may have iron deficiency anemia. get it checked out by your doctor and have a CBC (complete blood count) done to see if your iron levels are down.
