why do the exersise videos or exersise objects always say shrink your hips and blah blah blah....why would you girls want to have no hips??...when you have no hips there is no room to seeor have a curvy waist...it looks like a boys body...guys wouldnt you want a girl with some nice hips and luscious curves??

when they say "shrink" your hips they mean the meat on your hips not your bone (this is to the 1st answer)....duhh, you cant shrink your bone

well maybe ppl juz wanna shrink their hips a little bit! Well in my opinion girls want to have no hips coz they think it's cool!! Yes you're right that when a person has no hips it would look lika boyz body! Well women should have a coca-cola body! That's what my BF always tell me!!

Some peoples hips are too large and therefore need to shrink them to have a more proportionate body shape...not to necessarily get rid of their hips all together.

Well yeah guys like curves, but those videos aren't designed for thin women to make their bodies flat as boards... they're probably designed for out of shape women... so the women can go from jiggling and full of cellulite, to curvy.

I've been asking myself that for years lol. I dont know why they make those pilates and cardio workouts that shrink the size of your hips and butt. Men like booty!

I'm with you on this one - a curvy body is a beautiful body. I don't get the skinny and flat like a boy fetish ... it doesn't work for me.

they say girls need to have a body of an hourglass. and men need to look like bodybuilders personally i think it all stereotyping both girls and boys.
