Yes, you can. There are 2 ways to do this. The first is to use the Add/remove programs panel to uninstall IE 7. Window will put IE 6 back. The 2nd way is to use System Restore. Smart decision not to use IE 7, it has too may bugs and may cripple your system. If you want another browser that has more features and won't crash your pc use FireFox. I only use IE6 for window updates and use FireFox or Netscape (sometimes just for fun) for everything else.

YES!!!! Thats the miracle, Unistall, Reboot and go back!
And.... some elements of 7 will still be there but to heck with it.
Keep Using 6.0 cuz 7 sucks, I assure you Internet Explorer goes back when u unistall it!
I tested this on a friends computer.
Good Luck!

I did the same exact thing. I don't like 7.0. What I did was a System Restore to an earlier time. Go to "Start", "Control panel" and then on the left should be "system restore" just read the instructions on the window. Good luck!

Uninstall IE7
If your installation of IE7 was successful and uneventful, then uninstalling it is relatively simple process. The following steps will uninstall IE7 and restore IE 6.
1.Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2.Click Add or Remove Programs.
3.Scroll down to Windows Internet Explorer 7, click it, and then click Change/Remove.
If for some reason Windows Internet Explorer 7 does not appear in the Add or Remove Programs you should:
1.Open Windows Explorer
2.Click Tools | Folder Options
3.Click the View tab
4.Make sure the radio button next to Show hidden files and folders is on
5.Click OK
6.Click Start, and then click Run
7.Type: %windir%\ie7\spuninst\spuninst.exe into the text box and click Enter

You can remove it - but realistically - "get used to it" - it will be a standard very shortly..... I'm sure there will be some tweaks coming down the pipes - and you can always turn off tabs - so that's not an issue.
I'm not nuts about it but I keep it because I know that - the tab thing is the direction we're going in - All new machines will have it automatically on - and coming out with the new OS.....
There are some glitches - and I'm sure there will be fixes for some things.

Yes, you can remove it through "add/remove program" control panel. IE 7 have caused a lot of problems with QuickBook 2005, HP Director and other programs.

make positive you haven't further any of the particular "upload ons" like Yahoo!Toolbar etc. also you would possibly want to opt for to disable the anti-phishing clear out that examines each and each web page for issues.
