I am looking to buy a Smart Parts Ion. I'd love to get a nitro tank, but the nearest fill station for nitro is over an hour away. Can I use CO2 for it? Are there any attachments needed for using CO2? Or is there just no way around it? Thanks

yes you can use co2 on the ion. what you would need is an anti-siphon co2 tank. you can purchase an anti-siphon tank from either actionvillage.com or punisherspb.com both are well known paintball sites that i have used personally. the tank will cost roughly about 35-45 dollars. not including shipping. however if you just want the tube. you can go to paintballexpress.com and get it from them for 5 dollars. i wouldn't suggest installing it yourself though. just go to your local pb shop and have them put it on for you.

The manual says that you can use a CO2 tank if it has a siphon tube. i would not sugjest it though, there are tubes on the inside that will freeze and crack, they can be hard to find. also if there is a SCUBA shop in your area they can fill nitro tankes.
