I am pregnant and am having trouble finding clothes that are stylish, different, comfortable and in my price range. Did or does anyone have these problems? If so, what did you want to find, where did you find it and what at what pricing? Basically, if you designed maternity clothes; what would they be like?

If i designed maternity clothes they would:
1. be available for plus size and large chested women
2. follow todays styles and colors, no more pregnant women who look like beach balls, little girls, or 1950's leftovers
3. make available business suits and formalwear

I found tons of cute clothes, that wasn't the problem. The problem was how many clothes you end up buying because of your bodys constant changing. It's ridiculous to spend so much money on clothes that you only wear for about 6/7 months. Also they need to make maternity clothes in colors other than black and brown, I mean what are we, in Mourning? I got so sick and tired of everthing being black and brown. I also got tired of wearing the same 4 outfits everyday at work until I had my baby. So glad that's over!

I looked for pants that you could wear from 0 to 9 months, I found them at JC Penny, and they were the most comfortable pants I owned.
Shirts, I wanted maternity shirts that were fitted, I was proud of my belly and wanted to show if off. This was a bit of a task but I found stuff. But a little secret of mine, most of the shirts I wore til I gave birth were not maternity. I was huge, and I still worn shirts from AE, JC Penny Jr.'s, Gap.

My problem was the size (height-wise). When I was pregnant the clothes catered to anyone that was 5'6" or shorter. Now I am 5'11" and it was difficult to find something stylist in that height. I ended up getting a few things from Maternity-World but otherwise I just got regular close at a bigger size.
If I was to design I would cater to the tall and pregnant crowd.

i likes some of the clothes at Motherhood Maternity and JCPenney. other than that, if you want stylish, you may have to shop online. google for stylish maternity or fashion maternity. i found a great site, but i can't remember the name. it had clothing that was all in style, but made for pregnant women, and stylish shoes that were really comfy and expanded with your feet in case of swelling. look around on the internet.

Try Liz Lange clothing. I found it to be very stylish and affordable. She sells a great deal at Target. She has great Maternity bathing suits too. I also liked Old Navy Maternity although I found their styles to be a little bit to "hip" for my style showing way too much belly.

The girdle I have not have been given any clue on, yet i got here upon an incredibly intense high quality determination of plus sized maternity outfits at aim. They have been somewhat costly so maximum of my maternity outfits have been purely usual plus sized outfits that had elastic waists. good success!

I would make the jeans so that I don't always have to keep hiking them up and not quite so wide at the bottom of the leg. A lot of the nicer shirts seem to be so low cut. Your boobs are getting bigger as it is,do we really have to worry constantly about our neck line when we are bending over (assuming you can still bend at this point!). Also the prices are often too high.

Target has great clothes but the selection is limited. oldnavy.com is great. What i want most is pockets on pants. Also i love the underbelly pants. Really you should check out target. The liz lange stuff is great.

Someone bought for me this thing it goes around your jeans, its like a belt but its thick and they come in diffrent colors and it covers the zipper on your jeans so that you can still wear your cute jeans from before pregnancy and you can just keep your zipper undone and it this thing covers it. it was such a good idea!!!
