Basically most the American electorate believes that our government is corrupt except when it comes to their own congressman and senators. Ethics reform is just the tip of the iceberg that will begin to solve the problem. Term limits, ending ALL corporate and special interest lobbying and making government transparent is the answer. WE THE PEOPLE have the power to change things but as long as we allow them to use propaganda and "wedge issues" to keep us divided, they can keep pulling the same ol crap.

I wanna go on the news and talk my mind about the dem's, i honestly think i'd open the eyes of these people who blindly follow the media. But, if i were to ask them if i could, they'd lauf at me.. why would they wanna let sum1 intelligent talk? not another person in the world would watch the news again.
I think politicians or politicians administrations should keep an eye on Yahoo!answers just to see how those of us who speak our minds feel. Just as a past-time activity. I have seen the President of India asking "How do you suggest we rid the world of terror? if thats even accomplishable." before. Do world leaders have character limits? Hmm. lol..
I never knew about this until i stumbled on it coincidentally one day. Maybe people should email the president telling him about it and maybe he'll see one and take interest into it. Rather, maybe he should have an assistant do that and have the assistant suggest interesting articles for the pres to read... If the president saw what some of these radical non-sensable lies democrats say about him he'd prolly puke.
Check my profile and read my starred questions. Might find some interesting, or not, i write a lot lol.

Lobbyists.its lobbyists, do away with them and most of that will disappear.they wont be hiring x congressman and all those people in government who influince the making and passing of laws, later they make big money because they promised them jobs with high pay if they voted there way on things they wonted. But were sheeple people in this country so forget about any change .

There are only two real breeds of pigs to choose from and both breeds are corrupt. You try and pick the lesser of two evils.

I only watched bill Maher the position the libs were abusive and flat out mendacity about many stuff. The undesirable repubs had to sit down down there and take it courteously. appears like some thing went incorrect with the left in u.s..

Disappointed with Pelosi's little deal to exempt the territories from the minimum wage laws. I am sure that it had nothing to do with the tuna companies based in her district

No. Here's the deal: Power invites corruption, regardless of who says what on Y/A.
