IF the "American Liberal" DID survive, - it would be the end of the "Liberal". The real world would kill 'em or cure 'em. I think they would apprechiate just how great & wonderful it is in America. Who knows, instead of complaining about whats wrong with America they MIGHT actually do something FOR their country !!!!!!

Depends on the area, and whether or not the person publicly shares their political views while travelling.
In some areas, "today's American Liberal" wouldn't do any better than "today's American Conservative", simply because of the word "American". Which is sad.
I assume this is a bias question. In that case, don't be so sure that just because of your conservative values, you'd be any safer in the Middle East than a liberal. Even the staunchest conservative is liberal compared to the belief of those in the Middle East.
And as far as those very dangerous areas, well, hate doesn't distinguish between "D" & "R".

Since when was there only one of us? Lots of American Liberals live in Israel or teach English as a Second Language in places like the UAE, Egypt, Yemen, etc last I checked.
Edit: How could I forget all of the American Liberal soldiers in Iraq and Afghainstan. They're doing alright for the most part.

What an irrelevant question.
Not many people that are not trained in the military would survive there. So far there are over 3000 Soldiers that couldnt "survive" there.

there are many places in the middle east... with many different standards...
cities in Egypt, Israel, Kuwait and other countries are quite survivable...
other areas aren't so forgiving...
they would probably last longer than Republicans though... they would start yelling about how all Muslims are terrorists and it would be over in about 5 mins...

nope. their moral beliefs conflict with the muslims moral beliefs. they are the americans the muslims despise. they would be decapitated just as quick as every other american.

maybe, if they stayed with a group of our soldiers who were over there. otherwise, i suspect their heads and bodies would soon be parted.
ETA: i should have specified, i feel this is true in the case of any American. (who isn't a soldier, obviously.)
