I'm wondering if I should break up with my girlfriend now or later. I'm really tired of her and very unhappy in this relationship. I love her, and I feel like I'm waiting to get my **** together before I let things go. I've really hesitant about doing this, but it has been on my mind for the four months. I'm trying to hold off, but things don't look like there getting any better. If you have any advice it would greatly appreciate, and as usual serious reponses only please.
Sincerely,
Alone in a relationship.

Sorry to hear about that. The worst thing to do would be to prolong the relationship though, if you have been waiting for things to get better and they are still the same, it will be the same a few months down the line. The longer you wait, the uglier the situation/breakup would turn out in the end, she might blame you for the problems, or unhappiness you are feeling. If you want to salvage a friendship with her, it would be near impossible to do if you let the relationship drag on to the point of no return. If you love her, but aren't happy, you still have to put yourself first and ask yourself whats really best. The longer you wait the harder the breakup will be for the both of you.

If you're asking this question, phrased this way, it means your mind is already made up that there's nothing there worth fighting for (or that you're certain she is not willing to do her fair share of said fighting). If you're asking this exact question, phrased this way, do it sooner rather than later. It's not fair to her to waste her time, and it's not really healthy for you either to live miserably in a relationship you want out of.

Break up! If you aren't happy then what's the point when you can be out flirting with other cute girls? If you love her, make sure you keep in touch and try to be friends(even though thats hard). But if you know it's going nowhere, then whats the wait?

Do you still love her at all? You can be tired of the situation and unable to live with it anymore...but,really --do you lover her at all? If you do...try to make it the easiest on her. And when you do leave don't hesitate...don't keep her thinking that you might come back....I've had that done to me and it was horrible..good luck.

If the relationship is over, then it's time to move on. There's no sense living in the past.

If you're asking now or later and not whether you should break up with her at all, then that would point to now and get it over with

Ahhhhhhhh.... I hate that feeling. All I can say is try to break it to her. Just tell her what's wrong and how you feel. Be honest and maybe you can save a bit of friendship instead of severing all the ties.

Now-you are not doing her any favors by staying with her. Quite the contrary.
