You mean like 'corporate' mall type take out/eat in places, like Applebys? Olive Garden, Macaroni Grill restaurants and Pollo Loco? Greazy pancakes with lotsa suga from IHOP? I think not!

I suppose Chili's if you make me choose, but if I'm paying, and I usually do, I'll choose some out of the way place, a privately owned spot where they take more pride than can possible come out of some damn pre-filled flavor packet with a stamped number on it!

A place where a chef has real-life training in Life instead of some corporate kitchen. A place where they learn to 'cook up' instead of 'cook down' to the lowest common denominator of taste.
A place that does NOT cook Kraft® food dumbed down for fat and greedy, sugar gorging middle-Americian child so it 'won't hurt their little mouth'.
I AM AN ADULT and I choose to eat STRONGLY FLAVORED and evolved foods.

I'd prefer a home cooked meal cooked by somebody's talented immigrant uncle than by some grilled-to-the-numbers knuckle dragging, pimple popping, hung over 19 year old 'chef' getting his first job by correctly answering the corporate hiring department questions like, "What can you do for Taco-Rama to earn billions more", " or "What would you do if the busboy stole a damn shrimp . . . " .
My gawd, he's more interested in garnering favor with the new huge breasted smiley and vacuous starey-eyed 17 year old hostess.

But to answer your question, I'd go to Chili's. The food's ok.

Whew! Gee, I feel so much better now. Thank you so much for asking. Really.
