I might have had sex when i was 16 years old but you know what i married the guy i lost my virginity too. We have been together for almost 12 years. We are now both 27 with only one child that is five.
But we didn't get married until last year because we felt already married before saying i do.
I had sex out of love so i do not know what others to it for but alot do not even do it for the right reason.

Well not all teenagers lose their virginity before marriage. I am one of those teens. For those who chose to give up their virginity, its a choice and sometimes we can be influenced to make a stupid choice. But none the less its a choice and everyone has the power of free will.

Whoa! I am a Female Teenager, and I am waiting to have sex! I don't want sex before marrige, so not everyone is like what your title said. I think the reasons most teen lose it is because now days the media pushes it on us... Nowdays songs are full of nasty lyrics about sex and how they "want" the girl or guy. Its all the pressure! Hope this is an all right answer for you!

Because they do what their friends are doing.
Because their parents don't get involved with their kids life.
Because the schools don't help out when their is teenage pregnancy all around them.
Because they go through this stage of their friend having a baby then they want one to.
I think I could go on but I will stop there.

It's a very personal choice, and I don't see why it's any of anyone elses business? It seems people are always jumping up and down trying to tell people how to run their lives, including their sex lives before someone is married. Once married, people don't question other people's sex lives, so why do people feel they have the right to, before marriage?

They shouldn't have to. People don't ALWAYS get married these days. Some people would rather make sure they are sexually compatible with someone before taking a step as big as marriage. People need to mind their own business. If you want to wait until marriage for sex then good for you. Half the world doesn't believe in the same thing. Should we all change our beliefs to suit someone who doesn't believe in the same things? No, I don't think so.

I believe that teenagers in today's society are subject to a lot of peer pressure to do it. also they are hitting puberty at younger and younger ages and its all over I mean why wait when everybody else does it before they are married

We have an everchanging society, there are many who do chose remain virgins til marriage, just as their are many who don't. Its a personal choice, and if teens are well educated on this matter by family/carers then they will make the right choice for themselves.
