ok are they really fake because they require:
1. Real Strength
2. Real Skill
3. Real Pain

I mean when you watch it you're probably thinking "ohhh this is all set up and fake" but what about when you see a person lifting up a man twice as bigger and heavier man than himself (ex. Lashley lifting up ig Show, and Cena Lifting Big Show up) it makes you realize that the strength of WWe and TNA wrestlers is not fake.

The Pain is also very real and some wrestlers use painkillers which are not good for health and also steroids as well. The pain is probably caused by lifting something heavy, or when accidents happen.

The skill of certain superstars are also real (aj styles, rey mysterio ect...) and not everyone can do a double flip in the air or whatever they call it.....

so don't you think that wrestling is more real than fake????

In terms of muscle strength, agility, and the moves they have to make, it is real...however, that being said, there are schools that teach them how to do those moves, and the entire scene you see in the ring has been rehearsed several times prior to the audience actually seeing it. If you go backstage, you will see only a few dressing rooms, and several wrestlers in them. They all get along for the most part, I'm sure, like any job, some people don't like each other. However, they are actors in a play, and they get paid big bucks to do what they do.

The results of the matches are pre-determined but this does not constitute fakery. Yes punches are pulled but they have to be - if these fellas are performing a couple of nights per week they couldn't really be whaling away on each other as in the UFC. However the reality is, behind all the choreography and mis-direction wrestlers are being hit and physically punished. Partly what explains the high mortality rate in the industry coupled with steroid abuse.

I see professional wrestling as the ultimate drama show. First of all, it's all done live, there's a plot to it with a lot of drama, and it's very entertaining to watch. Think of it as a TV series where all the episodes are done live. It's a show about athletes trying to be the best in the world in a sport called wrestling. It's very physical acting. And it takes a lot of athleticism to be a professional wrestler. It's not a sport of who's the best wrestler in the world, it's a sport where the main objective is to please the crowd as much as possible with given roles. It's like a modern-day Gladiator show. It's not fake at all. It's about performing the best that you can to impress the crowd. People don't realize that's the true goal of a professional wrestler.

I have done some indy wrestling. it's hard work, i'm not gonna lie. But it's not nearly as hard as a real fight. Would someone do a 450 flip onto someone in a real fight? Highly unlikely.

That being said, the skills that you need to be a good wrestler are impressive.

It's not the physical part that is fake , but of course they have their special procedures to keep them safe, but it's the results that are fake. All the moves are staged and the wrestlers know who is supposed to win already. That's the main reason why we say it's FAKE. But yea you make a good point, but that's the main reason WWE and TNA is fake.

I would say there are "real" aspects, like the skills and strength etc. I think what alot of people mean by it being "fake" is that the winners and how the show goes is planned out before it begins. They are kinda like actors when they are out there.

Well it's 50:50 because they really do get hurt and they got muscle and everything, but it's all played out very little isn't but it's all played out like they reherse and they know whos going to win and they know all of what moves their supposed to do.

It, isn't all acting. These people put there bodies on the line everynight. Yes whether they win or not is determened before. But they do everything. they have to act yes. But its entertainment and they are pro athletes, because of what they do.
