the sims bustin out is alright it gets kinda boring and the graphics arnt so good i play it when im EXTRA bored. i like the urbz way more! you get to travel and actually work to earn money plus you get you go to more places and it rains! its cute but the cat and the dog are Very annoying i recommend getting two doors at both apartments that way you dont get trapt. but you cant have babies on the urbz so that kinda sucks. the sims 2 for playstation is ok you cant have kids there either but you get to go lots of places to so its ok once again i play that only when im bored. oh also the urbz has two player option so you an a friend can play its fun i recommend it most. But if your a true sims fan you Have to get the sims 2 for PC. the graphics are AWESOME! and its just plain fun with the EP makes it more fun!
Happy Simming.

depends on if your a real serious sims fan.
Sims:Urbz scored a when reviewed 7.3
Maxis' bold changes to The Sims formula aren't all for the better, but they make The Urbz a very distinctive and surprisingly solid game.
The Good: Eclectic soundtrack featuring hip-hop group Black Eyed Peas.; less-stringent time management than in previous the sims games.; clearer, easier-to-use social options than previous the sims games.; colorful, varied environments and characters..
The Bad: Cumbersome, sometimes-cluttered interface.; separate buy and build modes make build mode too tedious.; long load times.; minor bugs, graphical slowdown..
Sims: Bustin out scored an 8.3
Gameplay : This is about the simpilist gameplay you could get. You move your cursor around and select what to do. Everything in this game uses this kind of idea. The contols are resposive so you aren't mashing every button to get your Sim to do what you need it to do. What bugs me though is how fast your motives deplete (your guys feelings like going to the bathroom.) meaning you have to continuesly run back and forth to the places you need to go to refill your motives and the places you need to go to fill your stats for your job. However watching your Sim react to certail things around you is pretty worth-wile and can remove stress of the ever approcing bus to work. Another thing though is that the amount of work you've got to do before you can rest (your self no your Sim). You have to keep motives balanced, work out to gain your skills, and complete a number of goals. Then its time to employ the handy-dandy Fill-All-Motives cheat. A good thing though is that untill around level 3-4 that challenges that they have you perform before you can move to the next level safley get nail-biting hard. Problem is also levels 3- Malcoms Mansion have you contolling ANOTHER Sim (though you can just leave him to deal with him/herself). Plus every charater acts like they are supposed to. Dudley's a bum, the Goths are well goth, and Bing Bling is a hip-hopster. But when you retch Freemode everthing comes crashing to a halt and becomes boring because you have nothing to do and no-where to go, so I stay in Get-A-Life mode.
Graphics/Sound : This is pretty good. Everything is in 3-D and has their coorisponding shadows. There is a overhaul of objects and graphics that ,if your not careful, might numb your brain (and keep you destricted while the bus pulls up). There are no graphics that look relitivly cheap or rushed. There however is no English as all the talking is done in the made-up language Simish (youcould understand as if they could actully talk it would take a LOOONNG time to load.). Also you can tell what everything is. A desk looks like a desk, a pool table looks like a pool table, and gases look like gases.
Play Time/Replayability: Don't know. You will stay in Get-A-Life mode for a long time before you finish it completly, thus giving it good replayability. But once you finish Get-A-Life mode you SHOULD STAY IN GET-A-LIFE MODE! Like a said before once you hit Freemode there is NOTHING to do, NOWHERE to go, and gets boring fast, plus you only get $2,000(or 20,000, forgot) simoleans! So just whip out your creative spirirt and redesign one of you roomates houses.
Final Recommendation: This is a good game but some things are holding it back from being GREAT! In that case I give it a 7/10.
while the Sims 2 scored a 6.5/10
The Sims 2 loses something in translation from PC to consoles. Namely, its addictive, entertaining gameplay.
The Good: Lots of items and clothing to unlock and purchase; lots of character-customization options; new direct-control system better suited to console controller.
The Bad: Lacks compelling single-player game; lacks the intelligent, surprising ai of the pc version of the game; freeplay and story mode share the same saved game slots, for some reason.
