Why are people so racist? Everywhere people are insulting people because of their skin color! Why can't people judge people for their character, not their skin? Besides, why can't we just make fun of Michael Jackson or something? I see no point in insulting people because of their skin color, it's not like they choose to be white, black, asian, mexican, etc..!!

because people have nothing better to do than to find someone else's faults and expose them. just like poking fun at the president. do you think he is the only president that had made a mistake not just in office but before he took that oath. people moan and complain about how bad it is. if you are not happy then next election vote. or move somewhere else. i am soo tired of people complaining about how bad they have it here. there are soo many countries out there that live in poverty and war everyday. who would do anything to have a what we have. so i say if you do not like whos in office vote next time. we put those people there. or run for office. and we keep racism alive because we all got keep talking about it. every race,gender, and religion is discriminated against. yes there are more than others. until we all put on our big boy and girl panties and put all that crap in the garbage it will survive forever.

I agree, I just try to ignore it. It seems so out of hand.
Ignorance, is just very popular. I try to put in my 2 cent when I can, and when I see someone of my race being racist, I try to show them they are wrong. The best way to stop racisim, is to set the example.
At the end of the day, we are all human beings. Try to see the bigger picture, and not only the countries, and color of skin.
- Why are some of you defending a child molester? She didn't say make fun of Michael because of his race, besides she was only being playful. The guy is a sicko, do not forget that Jackson lovers!

Actually this doesn't happen everywhere. Check out your friends. Find new ones who agree with you about not being or acting in a prejudiced fashion. Stand up to your friends now who make ignorant or racist remarks. This is the only way that people will take a look at their behavior. If their racist remarks go unchallenged, they assume that there is agreement. It is clear that you do NOT agree, so go ahead and make a stand for your principles. Way to go!

I agree, Its funny cause i grow up in a very openminded area, Im black(skins lighter then most but its still obvious) my friends white, any way my teacher thought we were bros cause we hung out to gether all the time.

i have no idea why people are so racist, i cant believe that people only see things skin deep..i go to a highschool where its mostly white kids and its ridiculous to hear what they say about other people just because of race, but there really isnt anything you can do about it... its really sad

IT IS NOT SKIN COLOR!!!!! white racist constantly list a litany reasons for their racial views, and none of them are SKIN COLOR!!! white racist present statistics, evidence, proof, and they logically debate their postion with rational arguments, and skin color is not a part of it, neither is hate for that matter.
