It's constantly changing in accordance with my stage of development. Who I idolized in my youth would not necessarily be who I would look up to now. Ideals and "idols" change through time and experience. Right now, I can't say my "ultimate idol" is a person but rather an ideology: That I live by the Golden Rule: Treat others as you would want them to treat you! I don't idolize anyone in particular otherwise. There are many people I highly admire but I wouldn't go so far as to idolize anyone! It seems rather silly because they are ever changing too, as time goes on, so it seems rather variable in so many ways! I think you can only idolize something that never changes, like a painting or the life of a person who is now passed, like Mother Theresa, who lived her life with such consistency and ultimate devotion to helping others, it would have been easy to see her as an ultimate idol while she still was alive.

I am not sure of what do you mean by the term 'idol', even less by 'ultimate'. The word 'idol' have its etymology in the Latin 'idolum' which is something similar to image or form, in Greek includes something like a 'phantom'. Therefore, I cannot simply include a favorite artist, politician or religious figure, such as Jesus Christ as one. Adding to this the idea of 'ultimate' makes the things even more complicated.
Now, as a possible answer there are some works of arts and literature which for me are proximate to the term 'ultimate' (i.e. Dostoevsky's The Brothers Karamazov).

My ultimate idol. well that is Elvis Presley. I think he is the greatest entertainer in the world. I know he can sing anything for rock to country i mean there are so many things he coudl do. it is just a shame he is gone. I have so much of his stuff tapes etc showing his life death funeral and his death. I mean its sad they let someone take care of him which was really doing him harm and didn't care but that happens to all that are rich sad.

Myself in an advanced form, barring none of my actual defects. I can only idolize perfection (even if it's impossible to reach), therefore I can't idolize a human being I know from TV etc.
